Meet Kerry Holt
Therapeutic Counsellor PGDip BSc (hons) MBACP.

Kerry Holt Therapy is dedicated to providing professional counseling and therapy services to support individuals in their mental and emotional well-being.

I work primarily as a Person-Centred, Humanistic, Counsellor which essentially means that, in the therapeutic relationship with you, I centre your individual and holistic experience of your own life. I also strive to guide you in how to value yourself, respect yourself and offer yourself deep compassion and care.
From this core basis of focus on the therapeutic relationship, I also then work with each client to establish any strategies or specific techniques that may be suitable for them. I offer Rewind technique for trauma, Narrative Therapy and other coaching techniques to aid in you in mindset-shifts. I work carefully to make sure that any work we do is sensitively conducted to avoid any re-traumatisation risk.
I draw on my extensive background in the field of Speech & Language Therapy to support those people who lives are affected by Autism, ADHD, social-anxiety, , situational-mutism, stammering or disability in general. I am highly skilled at supporting people with communication or to express themselves in different ways. I am experienced at working with children (and their families) of all ages.
I am a registered member of the BACP (the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) which means that I work to a strict code of Ethics for your safety and for the excellence of my work with you.
I currently work mainly online via video call. I can provide a service to clients anywhere in the world.

I can also offer a few face to face sessions to Clients who can access South Sheffield in the UK.

The foundation of my practice is to offer you a confidential, warm, safe and secure environment, to look at what feels most important to you.
